	Disk Storage Space We allocate generous amounts of disk storage space for your use. You can store over 300 average web pages (graphics and all) within 10 Mb.
	Domain Name A domain name is a recognisable address for your website. A variety of formats can be purchased including the .au suffix to indicate an Australian base. See our domain page for prices and further explanations.
	Monthly Data Transfer Each time someone visits your web site they use up part of your monthly transfer allowance. The average site requires about 500 Mb of data transfer each month. We are pleased to offer unlimited transfer allowances on our Power and Super plans, but please note that some restrictions apply.
	Email Accounts We will set you up to receive email messages at you@yourname.com.au. Simply let us know your preferred email names when you apply. Email is then sent from, and received to your server where it is stored. To utilise unlimited email addresses, we will give you instructions on how to establish the Bigmailbox.com web based email to your domain. This is then accessible any where in the world with access to the world wide web, and is accessed through a web based interface. Email is sent from and received to Bigmailbox.com servers, and they allocate 6MB storage for each email address. If you are using this facility, you can set up to receive your email to anyname@prefix.yourdomain.com where prefix is any prefix you wish, or can be left as nothing.
	Autoresponders Autoresponders are a great marketing tool and can save you time answering common questions. You can set up an autoresponder so that when a message is sent to, say, info@yourname.com.au, then your pre-written message is automatically returned to the sender. All our hosting packages allow you to set up an unlimited number of autoresponders.
	CGI Bin with ready-to-use scripts We set you up with a CGI Bin and pre-install a set of useful scripts for you. Many hosting companies claim to provide "pre-installed" scripts but they do not actually configure them for you, so they are not ready to use. We install and configure your CGI scripts so that you don't need to know any CGI in order to use them. The scripts we provide include WWWBoard, Free For All Links Page, Simple Search, Guestbook, a graphical page counter, and FormMail (to email you the results when someone fills out a form).
	FTP Access You can access your account via FTP 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You can upload your site using FTP if you are on a hosting only plan (ie Boomerang Web Design has not designed your site and/or maintaining it).
	Email Forwarding You can choose to forward your email to a different email account anywhere on the web. This is easily achieved through a web-based interface.
	Email Aliases We set up your main email account so that any mail sent to an unrecognised user at your domain is delivered to your main email address. This can be very useful because it means you can use many different email aliases without actually having to set them up explicitly. You can also give any email account an unlimited number of email aliases so that when mail is sent to, say, an_alias@yourname.com.au then you will receive the email at, say, colleague@yourname.com.au (a real mailbox). Email aliases can be set up very easily through our control panel.
	FrontPage Extensions Our servers support Microsoft FrontPage 97/98/2000/2002 Extensions. The extensions can be installed on your site if you request, at no charge. They allow you to add functionality to your site including hit counters, search forms, and discussion groups. Additionally, when the FrontPage extensions are installed on your site, you can use your FrontPage software to open your HTML pages directly from the web, edit them, and save the changed pages directly back to your web site.
	Telnet Access Telnet access allows you to log on to your server and administer your site by issuing commands at the Linux prompt.
	Detailed Usage Statistics We generate a weekly statistical report about your site's traffic. The report will include information about visitors, page views, file accesses, referrers, browsers used by your visitors, platforms used by your visitors, visitors' hosts, visitors' top-level domains, and the most common entry and exit pages. These reports are among the most detailed and useful around, but you will also have access to your raw log files in case you want to examine the data further.
	Access to raw logs While we provide extremely detailed site usage statistics, we allow you access to the raw logs in case you wish to have a look at your access in more detail. This also enables you to analyse the log with any script you wish. Midnight Sunday (server time) the log file is compiled into the detailed report.
	Server Side Includes Server side includes are a neat and simple way of repeating blocks of HTML code in different web pages. The file containing the repetitive HTML code can be included in any page(s) you like with only one line of HTML code (a server side include statement)
	Programming Languages and Development Tools We provide the following tools to support applications development and server administration: the GNU C/C++ compiler (gcc) and libraries; several text editors (vi, pico); the GNU Bourne Again Shell (bash); Perl 5.00404; and Python. Your web pages can also include Java applets (though not Java servlets).
	Password Protected Directories You can restrict access to any directory on your site so that visitors are prompted for a user name and password in order to access any files in the directory.
	Customised Error 404 Missing Document Page When a visitor to your site tries to access a page that does not exist, they will usually receive Apache's default Error 404: File Not Found message. If you prefer you can set up your account so that your own customised 'missing document' page is displayed instead, perhaps with a link to your home page (or whatever you like).
	99% uptime guarantee While it is extremely unlikely that your site will be down, if it is unavailable for more than 1% of the time due to problems with our servers, we will refund you a proportion of your monthly hosting fees depending on how long your site was unavailable. This is at the discretion of Boomerang Web Design.
	Free site backups Every week your site will be backed up to guard against the unforeseeable, free of charge. While our servers are entirely secure, and we are confident that your site will be running without incidence, we take this step to give you piece of mind.
	Majordomo Subscribable Mailing List Majordomo is a program which automates the management of Internet mailing lists. Commands are sent to Majordomo via electronic mail to handle all aspects of list maintenance. Once a list is set up, virtually all operations can be performed remotely, requiring no intervention upon the postmaster of the list site. Here's a short list of some of the features of Majordomo: -Supports various types of lists, including moderated lists -All list management activities are handled by email -Supports confirmation of subscriptions, to protect against forged subscription requests -One subscribable mailing list (with up to 1,000 subscribers) is included with every Super account.
	Databases Customers on Super plans are given MySQL Database access. Please note that we do not provide support for this database package. For further information about MySQL, please refer to the MySQL Home Page.
	Shopping Cart Our e-commerce suite has been designed to enable you to setup and manage a shopping cart with ease. The suite includes: A Shopping Cart, A Catalog Manager, Easy-to-use setup and management tools. Payment gateways can be easily plugged in. No technical skills required. The shopping cart can be used in conjunction with many third-party credit card payment gateway services. Alternatively, payments can be received securely online using our SSL/GPG facilities (for accounts with SSL/GPG access only), and then processed offline using your regular merchant account. We have tried to make this system as easy as possible to use. The setup and maintenance is all browser-based and no CGI programming is required. In most cases all you need to do is fill out some forms in our Control Panel to get the system working the way you like it. Using our Control Panel you can alter your shopping cart's appearance, tax, shipping, and payment options. The shopping cart system also comes with an easy-to-use Catalog Manager. The Catalog Manager enables you to add, edit and delete shopping cart items with ease.
	Secure Server (SSL) Our Super account comes with secure server access so that you can receive payments and transmit information securely via the web. Secure Server access can be added to our other accounts for a small setup and monthly fee. GPG is included with Secure Server access and is a PGP equivalent method of encryption which keeps yours forms encrypted while housed on the server, and also while transferred from the server to computer.
